Preserving a 129-mile stretch of Great Egg Harbor River and its 17 tributaries, this watershed is home to migrating birds and spawning fish. The land’s resources once supported blast furnaces, sawmills, and brick works, but today the wetlands, waters, and forests in Pinelands National Reserve draw in birders, fishers, and canoers.
