Bridger-Teton protects more than 3.4 million pristine acres of land, including the state’s highest summit, Gannett Peak, and a large part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem - the largest intact ecosystem in the lower 48 United States. When it comes to recreation, Bridger-Teton is known for the four W’s - Wildlife, Winter Opportunities, Wilderness, and Wild and Scenic Rivers. All visitors must be bear aware.
