Planning a trip? Check out Tennessee State Parks,
Centuries of travel by animals, indigenous peoples, and settlers carved a woodland route between present-day Mississippi and Tennessee known as the Natchez Trace.
This park, located on an alternate route of the Trace, was acquired and improved through Roosevelt’s New Deal Program. Miles of hiking trails, a wrangler camp, museum, and four lakes attract fishermen and recreationalists alike.
While you're here, check out our Tennessee State Parks Collection Album to have a dedicated spot for all 57 parks!
