Nineteen waterfalls cascade in one of the jewels of the crown of New York’s state parks. At Watkins Glen, visitors find a beautiful deep Ice Age gorge flanked by waterfalls, bridges and three hiking trails that navigate over 800 stone stairs. Cavern Cascade, the tallest of the glen’s falls, dropping 52 continuous feet, plunges over a trail allowing visitors the chance to be behind and beneath a waterfall.
