Located in the state where the first test atomic bomb was detonated in 1945, this facility interprets the Atomic Age, when fears of nuclear war ran rampant. The World War II Manhattan Project is explored in depth, as are more peaceful nuclear uses such as energy and medicine. Aircraft and missiles are viewed in the Heritage Park.
