Chirping birds and pika provide a soundtrack to this million-acre forest just west of Colorado Springs. Known for its crown jewel, Pikes Peak Mountain, the forest is a favorite destination for hikers, anglers, campers, boaters, cross-country skiers and OHVs. Gold Camp Road, Rampart Range Road, Devil's Head Lookout, Crystal Creek Reservoir, Manitou Park and Eleven Mile Canyon are not to be missed.
